Toronto week 4. Toy Story is now staged and up on its feet, or perhaps I should say up on it's "rear end" for me. We are onto the Golden Mickeys now. A show quite familiar, and very dear to my heart. When I hear the opening music in rehearsals I'm overwhelmed with nostalgic feelings for my Hong Kong. Where are all my Asians though? Luckily, I have Paige and Marc here, two people I worked with in Hong Kong, who share my same feelings.
I'm certainly doing a lot more work in this show. Some how I've been casted as a monkey in the Tarzan scene. I get to spin on the Spanish web, with one arm, till I can't feel my hand, and my visions gone, IT'S GREAT! (slight sarcasm:) Well I may not be the greatest of dancers, but I can climb up that rope like I have fire underneath me. Climbing up trees at the Mosebar's and having a Romanian gymnastic coach probably helped.
I had a costume fittings last week for all 13 of my costumes! Holy cow that was the ultimate dress up. I felt fierce in some, princess like in others, and then down right hideous in the rest. Good thing I don't take my self too seriously. How can you when you are "friends" with Belle, a dwarf, Pocahontas, and a monkey?
Went to Niagara Falls last week as well. I can't really describe it. It's one of those things you need to see before you die! I'm amazed at Gods creation!
Missing family and friends as always, but I'm just glad to be busy so I don't think about it as much. Until next time!
